What is Aadhaar

Aadhaar number is a 12-digit random number issued by the UIDAI (“Authority”) to the residents of India after satisfying the verification process laid down by the Authority. Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident of India, may voluntarily enrol to obtain Aadhaar number. Person willing to enrol has to provide minimal demographic and biometric information during the enrolment process which is totally free of cost. An individual needs to enrol for Aadhaar only once and after de-duplication only one Aadhaar shall be generated, as the uniqueness is achieved through the process of demographic and biometric de-duplication.

Step1-

Go to the official website of Uidai :https://uidai.gov.in/ 

Step 2-

 Go to the e-aadhar dowload page follow below link:

https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/faadhaar/#/

Step 3-

Select aadhar option as shown in this picture.

Step 4-

Enter your details as your choice by enter aadhar number , by  enrollment ID or your Virtual ID provided by you SMS if you recently updated your aadhar card.

Step 5- 

After fill all required mandatory then click on SEND OTP button then a OTP received on your registered mobile number.

Step 6-

Enter the OTP you received on your mobile.

After it an pdf file of your aadhar card will downloaded.

The password to open your e Aadhaar PDF file is a combination of the first four letters of your name written in CAPITALS (Name as mentioned in the Aadhaar card) and your Year of Birth (in YYYY format).
